Progress Week #3
Back from my week-long trip to Switzerland. In the last 2 weeks, I have lost 2.1kg of weight (right on schedule). SizeLogger is now TryLess and publicly available for use.
Diet
Eating seed-oil free food in restaurants is hard. In Switzerland, even at salad bars and supermarkets, I found the main ingredient for cooking anything was refined seed oils. So I made a compromise. I stuck to my macros for the 1 big meal for the day and gave up on it being minimal LA. Eating out was supposed to be fun but every single day during lunch time, I found myself researching restaurants to find high-protein, non-zero fiber, minimal LA food and it was frustrating.
When I returned home, I couldn’t be happier. I could go back to cooking my salmon and chicken in ghee and have complete control not just of the macros but also of the taste 🌶️.
Creating
TryLess is now live! I have revamped the landing page to resonate more with the core-problem: “frustration of [trying clothes in trial room/ordering clothes online] just for them to not fit, again and again”.
Thoughts
My goal of 94kg by end of June is on-track 🎯
I only worked on my projects 1 day in the last 2 weeks. I had an excuse while I was away vacationing but now I need to ramp it up.
I have been experimenting with adding all todo items to Todoist and the jury is still out whether it works better at managing my brain’s workload
I will need to revamp my portfolio landing page to reflect my new projects.
